“Don’t stop when you are tired. Stop when you are done”—unknown
Walla! I just finished writing and editing my first book. I am so excited. This is because at one point I said to myself, this is not for me. I was tired. There was just too much to do and very little time. I parked the book for a good three months – but came back with full vigor to complete it.
If you start on any project, with real conviction, it is best to complete it and not leave it midway. I guess there are times you feel you no longer have the drive or strength to continue – but it is only one who started half hearted who will succumb to these feelings.
Let it be your mission to reach the end. Along the way, you may start losing hope or getting tired, the best thing to do is to take a planned short break – and come back with full force. You can even use a different approach to complete your mission.
Sometimes just having a new and fresh idea will go a long way towards you achieving your goal. It is always important to set reasonable goals and deadlines for yourself.
So let’s not quit because we are tired. Being ‘tired’ just means you need to take a break, re-think and get on with it!
To your success
