Don’t Quit on Me
You will face your greatest opposition when you are closest to your biggest miracle—Shannon L. Alder
At times I do get to a point of giving up on certain things that I enjoy doing. This is usually because of the result I will be getting from my efforts. They will not be what I want. I remember calling for a business meeting and no one pitched up- how disheartening can that be? The meeting was to help those who want to be financially empowered – yet they decided not to pitch up despite promising that they would. I am trying to imagine where I would be if I had just given up on my passion because of this incident. I do not even want to try to feel the agony of not doing what I love. Today, I still call for meetings and am happy to touch those who pitch up.
What is your story? At times breakthrough comes with pain and tears. It’s only to those that understand their vision and calling who stay on and are willing to sacrifice to get to achieve. Opposition towards your goals can come from all directions. You can be persecuted and doubted, given bad news about your efforts, told you do not qualify and so on, but guess what – your miracle could just be when you decide to ‘stand up’ again and try.
When something good is about to happen in your life you will surely face so many challenges and you might even lose everything. Kahil Gibran wrote, “When you are joyous look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy. The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain.” So when you start seeing those painful moments, know your time to rejoice for your miracle is almost there! Don’t quit.
To your success
